How You Can Help
At any given time, there are approximately 5,000 Iowa children in foster care. To help only half of the 5,000 foster children in Iowa each year, it would cost $500,000. The Foundation was able to offer assistance to 132 children in 2009.
The Iowa Friends of Foster Children Foundation welcomes all financial contributions to help Iowa’s foster children. The Foundation is a 501(c)3, nonprofit organization fully staffed by volunteers, including an all-volunteer Board. All volunteers donate their time and there are no paid staff members. Donations to the Iowa Friends of Foster Children Foundation directly benefit children in Iowa's foster care system. Donations are tax deductible. Your financial support is appreciated!
